It’s great to see you.
This started as an antique shop.
The seeds of Dorsey Brennan were the tenderest, took the longest to mature,
and demanded extensive education and consideration, but — like all good results —
they were well worth the wait.
Welcome to Dorsey Brennan:
Now offering full-service residential interior design & hand-chosen vintage
for those who live by the art of appreciation.
My name is Eileen Dorsey Brennan.
I am a wife, a mom, an interior designer, and the founder of Dorsey Brennan.
I grew up in rural Upstate New York, in a family that dealt in antiques and made an art of restoring old homes – from my siblings, to my parents, to my grandparents, and beyond. I studied Visual & Critical Studies (B.F.A.) at New York City’s School of Visual Arts, and have gone on to work in auctions, merchandising, screen-printing, illustration, graphic design, vintage clothing, and education. For the past three years, I’ve been curating antique home decor and doing interior design professionally.
I bring a classically-trained, formal perspective to interior design with an artistic approach and a human focus. I naturally want to bring the strongest elements of antique design into the 21st century, always returning to “what works” across design history and actively weeding out empty excess. I’m based in northeastern Pennsylvania, taking on select residential and commercial projects for clients nationwide.
About me.
